Job Summary
Entry Field Management position with minor construction experience that through direction from both the Project Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent provides on-site coordination and assistance for all phases of the construction project. Will include management of hourly trade employees and subcontractors and at the same time gaining experience and skills required for position advancement.

Education and Experience
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field of study.
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience. Formal internships can be used to satisfy the experience requirement.
Skills, Certifications, and Designations
The skills, certifications, and designations needed to be successful in the job
Skills: Basic understanding of construction terms, fundamentals, and plan reading, with exposure to scheduling, cost accounting, and job site safety. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Procore, and similar computer programs. Strong verbal and written communication aptitude, as well as teamwork, problem-solving, and initiative. Willing to accept direction and follow through to ensure work assignments are completed. Desire to learn and strive for promotion.

Heavy Physical Activity
Job requires team member to be mobile; frequently lifting 50 to 80 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. The duties of the job require the frequent use of hand and fingers to type, reach, grasp, and handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. In addition, it requires the ability to stand, climb, stoop, kneel crouch, crawl, and navigate uneven surfaces. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Job duties require the physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, work above ground level on construction hoists, ability to climb ladders, negotiate work areas under construction, and maintain balance and equilibrium to prevent falling. Job frequently involves exposure to dust, fumes, odors, heavy machinery, machinery with moving parts, scaffolding and high places, and noise (must shout to be heard).
